Bruce Willis and Demi Moore’s second daughter, Scout LaRue, shared a short video on her Instagram story on Thursday (November 23) in which she appears with her father, who captioned it, “My son.” The 32-year-old woman holds the actor’s hand during the Thanksgiving dinner, emphasizing their complicity in the ordeal of the disease.
Bruce Willis, now 68, donned a gray beanie and matching gray jumper for the special day, while he sported a white floral top. In another video, he rests his head on his father’s right hand.
The Willis family has been providing regular updates on the health of the retired actor about his illness, aphasia, which was later diagnosed with frontal degeneration, a neurological disease that affects language and memory and leads to dementia. In The Drew Barrymore Show , earlier this month, however, his younger daughter Tallulah said: “He is still the same. (…) I feel that’s the only thing we can ask for in this situation.”
Currently, there is no cure for this disease. Last June, however, the Willis family said they would “never give up hope” that scientists would one day find a cure for dementia.
