These five Pixar figures appeared only once in cinemas despite being included in major franchises, find out which ones they are!
I LIKE IT I WANT MORE! With the premiere of ‘Lightyear’ held in June 2022, we were introduced to Sox, the robot kitten who will accompany Buzz on his space adventures. But will he return to Pixar productions?
Although Sox is the most recent character to be the focus of this question, other iconic figures have already been in the same position, since, despite winning the hearts of animation fans, they did not return for new plots from the studio.
With this in mind, RECREIO separated 5 Pixar characters that we miss and who missed the chance to return to the big screen alongside our favorite protagonists. Look!
1. The Abominable Snowman (Monsters Inc.)
Contrary to the image that has been built upon his nature over the years, The Abominable Snowman (also known as Yeti) who appears in ‘Monsters Inc.’ appears polite, kind and friendly when welcoming Mike and Sulley after the duo are kicked through one of the doors when they were banished and ended up in the Himalayas, close to a human village.
The character who was also expelled from the Monstropolis Scare Factory could reappear in ‘Monsters University’, as the film predates the original story, but unfortunately he did not return to the screen.
2. Forky

Created by Bonnie with paper, glue, scissors and colored pencils in fiction, Forky is clumsy and believes he is not a toy, but rather trash, a fact that makes him embark on several adventures alongside Woody in ‘Toy Story 4’.
Although the film ends Woody’s arc, the studio has already left the door open for a sequel in the future, which, if it happens, would be interesting to feature Garfinho again in theaters.
3. Syndrome

Vengeful and perverse, this is the combination that made Syndrome an unforgettable villain in ‘The Incredibles’. With his red hair and mastery of different technologies, the character would have a lot to offer, it’s a shame he ended up dying at the end of the first film in the franchise.
4. Boo

The human snake that ends up causing enormous chaos in Mostrópolis. Despite the previous definition, Boo is just a cute little girl who became one of the highlights of ‘Monsters Inc.’ for developing a strong friendship with Sulley during the plot.
With this, the character left viewers with a huge desire to watch new adventures led by the two in the company of Mike, however, this did not happen.
Still, there is the Pixar Theory that argues that Boo is, in fact, the Witch from ‘Brave’, who went back in time to find Sulley. It is worth remembering that in the thesis, the character is responsible for all the inexplicable events seen in the stories already released on the big screen.
5. Bailey

Bailey is a beluga white whale who appeared in the film ‘Finding Dory’ and is a hypochondriac, that is, he believes he has a disease that leads him to believe that his sonar abilities do not work, in addition to stating that his head is big simply because he hit her.
As he appeared in the film that precedes the events of ‘Finding Nemo’, his return to productions related to clownfish is unlikely to happen.
