Touching on subjects and cinema people such as Asterix, Tom Cruise or more recently the duo Olivier Nakache and Eric Toledano, the journalist showed that he also shines in this exercise. His dream? Being one day at the helm of a program such as The last sessionwhich was introduced by Eddie Mitchell in the 1980s.
My mood from the moment ?
Excited. Will try to use my speaking time again this season Everyday to promote works and artists that excite me, and to make the audience curious to know more.

The best and worst guests ?
I enjoyed meeting the cartoonist Luz who drew us funny pictures at the show and the director Baz Luhrmann as I’m a huge fan of his films. My dream guest? Paul McCartney!
Is promoting myself a chore?
I would be ungrateful if I spoke about this, but it is true that it is an exercise in which I am not at all comfortable.
Wooden tongue or too loose ?
I would say the language is very loose. After the interview, I spend an hour saying to myself: “Was I right to say that?” “But why didn’t I think to say that?”

My personality ?
I am very shy and it was an opportunity to start my columns Everyday In the time of Covid, without an audience. This gave me a soft start.
The subject that throws me off my hinges ?
Manifestations of sexism. Small things, men saying “slut” to talk about a girl wearing a lot of make up. What makes me mad? Men are against abortion.
Misunderstanding about you ?
Yes, my parents (journalist and writer Laurent Shaloumont and former director of original creation Canal+Arielle Saracco, Editor’s note) got me this job Everyday. Obviously, they have helped me in many ways, but in this case they never interfered with my recruitment. On the contrary, when I told them the news, they were quite worried.

What I like people to say about me ?
I’d really like to avoid being lecturing in my columns and would like to be heard to address serious topics without sounding snobbish. And if I’m funny, I’ll win everything.
What do I think when I look in the mirror in the morning? ?
I rarely look in the mirror in the morning because I’m running late, but I’m generally not very kind to my reflection. I have to work on it.
Concept of my Instagram @destableauxpartout ?
The idea is to find works of art in everyday life. Someone dressed like an old portrait, an object that reminds me of an abstract painting… It’s been a long time since I posted anything, and I still have pictures in my mind, but I have to wait until I meet them in real life life

Three films in my pantheon ?
almost famous By Cameron Crowe Lost in translationby Sofia Coppola and The elephant cheats a lot. By Yves Robert.
Last time I was proud of myself ?
When I dared to take a stand during the debate at the risk of offending some. Then I blamed myself, but watching the show, I got a text from my mom saying, So I was proud too.
What am I going to do after this interview? ?
Telling myself I should have given better answers and quickly got back to work on my column tonight.
