General Staff: The Ukrainian Armed Forces repelled 17 enemy attacks near Avdiivka

Defense Forces aviation carried out four strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated.

The defense forces repelled 17 enemy attacks in the Avdeevsky direction. In just one day, 69 military clashes took place on the front. This was stated in the morning report of the General Staff.

The enemy launched seven missiles and 34 air strikes, and carried out 59 attacks from multiple rocket-launching systems on positions of Ukrainian troops and populated areas. More than 110 settlements in Chernigov, Sumy, Kharkov, Lugansk, Donetsk, Zaporozhye, Kherson and Nikolaev regions came under artillery fire.

Seversky and Slobozhansky directions

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSGV North, the enemy maintains a military presence in the border areas, carries out active sabotage activities and increases the density of mine-exploding obstacles on the state border in the Belgorod region.

Kupyansk direction

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSGV Khortitsa, the enemy, with the support of aviation, carried out unsuccessful attack operations in the areas of the settlements of Sinkovka, Petropavlovka, Ivanovka and Kislovka in the Kharkov region, where the defenders repelled 11 attacks.

Direction of Bakhmut

With the support of aviation, the enemy carried out attack operations in the areas of Dubovo-Vasilovka, east of Klishchievka and Andreevka of the Donetsk region, where Ukrainian defenders repelled almost 10 attacks.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Defense Forces continue offensive operations in the south of Bakhmut, Donetsk region, causing losses to the enemy in manpower and equipment, and consolidating their position on the achieved lines.

Avdeevskoe direction

In the area of ​​responsibility of OSGV Tavria, the invaders did not abandon attempts to surround Avdeevka. Ukrainian soldiers held the line, inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. The enemy’s offensive actions in the southeast of Novokalinovo, east of Novobakhmutovka, Avdeevka, and the Northern Donetsk region were unsuccessful. Here the Defense Forces repelled 17 attacks.

In the area of ​​​​responsibility of the OSGV Odessa, in the defense industry they conduct counter-battery combat, inflicting heavy losses on the rear of the enemy.

During the day, Defense Forces aircraft carried out four strikes on areas where enemy personnel, weapons and military equipment were concentrated. Also, an X-59 guided aircraft missile was destroyed by the air defense.
