The presentation, which is part of the “Soy Rebelde Tour”, took place at the Nilton Santos stadium, Engenhão, in Rio de Janeiro. The lineup still has a show in Rio de Janeiro this Friday, and in São Paulo next week.

In 2007, RBD carried out its second tour where, in Brazilian lands, they had shows scheduled in São Paulo, Porto Alegre, Santa Catarina and Brasília. Amidst the chaotic agenda, while the then sextet passed through the Federal Capital, the members were welcomed by the President of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silvanext to the first lady, now deceased, Marisa Letíciaat Palácio do Planalto.
The band was invited by the politician to participate in a government program, through the donation of a guitar autographed by all six members, which would be auctioned, with all the money raised going to the Fome Zero social program, created by the Brazilian federal government in year 2003.

Reencounter?
Since the confirmation that RBD would return to Brazil as a complete group, many fans began to ask for a reunion between the members and Lula, who is serving his third term as president. However, the expected moment may not happen.
This is because the group has performances scheduled in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo until the 19th, with no plans to make a quick visit to Brasília, where the president is located. Furthermore, Lula cannot travel by plane until November 26th due to medical advice after undergoing hip surgery in October.
So far, there is no information whether the band and presidency teams are trying to organize space in the agenda for the reunion to take place.
