Texas Congressman Blames Mass Shooting On ‘Dang Smartphones’ –

While guns are, by definition, part of every mass shooting, many Republican politicians wrap themselves in knots and try to blame them for anything other than guns.

On Wednesday, Rep. Pat Fallon (R-Texas) gave another reason for gun violence that doesn’t really include guns.

If you read it on your phone, you can also sit down, because it blames smartphones.

“Weapons have always been available in this country, but mass shootings, especially in schools, did not exist or were very rare until they became a recent horrific phenomenon,” Fallon told the committee.

“So what is that Has it changed in the last 50 years? ”He asked before proposing his theory.

“The dramatic breakdown of the family, the erosion of faith and the seismic decline of social interaction due to the excessive use of these smartphones and the proliferation of social media, which is perhaps best described as anti.” “Social media,” he said as he held his device over the visual aid.

As previously mentioned, Fallon isn’t the only person offering measures to reduce gun violence that don’t involve gun restrictions, especially after last month’s mass shooting in Wawald, Texas.

Herschel Walker, the U.S. Senate candidate in Georgia, has a dizzying proposal to prevent future massacres.

“It’s about creating a department that can watch young men watch women and watch social media,” he said.

Additionally, the super-edgy video below features Fox News personalities offering 50 tips for stopping gun violence that doesn’t involve guns but includes better fencing and reduced use of the telephone.
