Walt Disney’s ancestors lived in a small village in Lincolnshire. That’s why his family’s coat of arms now appears on the title screen at the beginning of every movie since 2006. The Daily Mail writes about it.
Disney visited Norton Disney Village in Lincolnshire with his family in 1949. He then traced his distant ancestry.
Also, accompanied by his wife and children, the family crest of his presumed ancestor Sir William d’Isney was discovered in the tomb of a 14th-century man in St Peter’s Norton Disney Church, built in the 11th century.
We remind you that the eldest daughter of the famous animator Walt Disney, Diana Disney Miller, died at her home in California at the age of 79.
