The trailer for ‘Wish’ broke Disney’s viewing record and became the studio’s most watched trailer
“Wish: The Power of Desires” only hits Brazilian cinemas on January 4th, but it has already broken a new Disney record! Last Wednesday, the 27th, the house of Mickey Mouse released the first trailer for its newest animation, which will be released to celebrate the studio’s 100 years.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Disney revealed that the new production preview had 66.5 million views on online platforms, becoming the studio’s most watched trailer. Until then, the video that held that title was from “Frozen 2”, which was released in 2019. It was not revealed how many views the trailer for the sequel to Anna and Elsa’s story had when it was released.

“Wish” will be the 62nd film produced by Walt Disney Animation Studios. The production will be a musical comedy, and will feature Asha, Disney’s newest princess, who will be voiced by Ariana DeBose.
