However, the information caused new questions to surface, such as why was the renewal done now, given that some of the idols are already in the military, while the others are preparing to enlist?
The answer came last Monday, the 25th, with a statement issued by HYBE explaining details about this renewal. In an official note, the company explained that, although the contracts have already been renewed, they will only come into force from 2025, which is when BTS members must return from mandatory military service.
