Capable of moving fans around the world since he was first introduced in the comics, Batman is one of DC’s most iconic heroes and admired, mainly, for his methods of fighting crime and using technology, strength and intelligence to your favor.
Batman has appeared on the big screen in several films, series and animations — not to mention the comics that gave him breathtaking narratives. In 2022, Batman emerged with another great promise in cinemas with the actor Robert Pattinsonwho stars in the hero’s newest film directed by filmmaker Matt Reeves.
Despite the controversy over the star’s choice – as many Batman fans are wary of Pattinson for his portrayal of the vampire Edward Cullen, from the “Twilight” saga — many people were surprised by the actor’s performance, which received numerous praise from specialized critics.

1. Batman first appeared in the magazine Detective Comics 27, in 1939, with drawings of Bob Kane and script Bill Finger.

6. So far, the character has been played by six different actors in the cinema: Michael Keaton (in 1989 and 1992), Val Kilmer (1995), George Clooney (1997), Christian Bale (2005, 2008 and 2012), Ben Affleck (2016 and 2017) and Robert Pattinson (2022).
7. Despite never having starred on the big screen as Batman, the actor Kevin Conroy He was the person who played him for the longest time. His voice was used in six animated series, five animated films and six games. After 12 years playing the role, many consider him the best Batman of all time!
8. Initially, the character Robin would only have a special appearance in the comic book Detective Comics 38, in 1940. But the edition sold so much that he became a frequent feature in the stories.
9. It’s impossible to talk about Batman without mentioning Catwoman, right? Believe it or not, but in one of the comic series, Bruce Wayne and Selina Kyle even got married.
10. Batman was one of the founders of the Justice League, which first appeared in a story in 1960. Among the members, Superman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Flash, Martian Manhunter and Cyborg.
