A South Korean news channel reported that BLACKPINK’s Jisoo may star in new drama alongside Park Jung Min
This Thursday, the 31st, the South Korean news channel YNT reported that Jisoo,from BLACKPINK, and the actor Park Jung Min, will be starring in a new drama together. They will be protagonists of the series “Influenza”, by Coupang Play.
In response to the news released, a representative of the SEM Company, the agency responsible for managing the career of Park Jung Min, said, “It’s one of the projects he’s reviewing to star in” (via Soompi). YG Entertainment, responsible for Jisso and BLACKPINK, gave a very similar response: “She received an offer for ‘Influenza’ and is reviewing the offer.”
The series will be set in a high-rise air defense unit in Seoul, while the plot follows the story of soldier Jae Yoon, who would be played by Park Jung Minand his girlfriend Young Joo, whose interpreter Jissotrying to find his way through a zombie crowd.
