According to Spiegel, Martin Kühne, a representative of the far-right Alternative for Germany (AfD), turned out to be the violator.
The day before, Kuehne was fined for using paraphernalia of anti-constitutional organizations and insulting in the amount of a 50-day salary. The politician did not comment on the accusations against himself. The AfD reported that he informed the city leader of the decision to leave his post on August 29.
According to journalists, a similar incident occurred twice: in January and March of this year. A member of the City Council of Baden-Baden drew a swastika and wrote the phrase F*ck UA on cars with Ukrainian license plates.
The reason for the fine was “the use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations” and the use of invective vocabulary.
