The first full trailer for the documentary has been released. Super power (Superpower) by American actor and director Sean Penn, who has been supporting Ukraine since the beginning of the mass invasion.
Filming began in Ukraine before the massive Russian invasion. Initially, the filmmaker was interested in the phenomenon of turning a popular comedian into a politician. However, after February 24, 2022, the movie’s intentions changed.
“Documentary Super power tells the story of how Sean Penn travels to Ukraine to learn more about comedian-turned-president Volodymyr Zelensky. It was supposed to be an entertaining movie, but it turned out to be a historical document. When Penn is taken to a secret bunker in the Presidential Palace, the Russian invasion begins. Penn talks to President Zelensky while the city is being bombed. He became an unwitting witness to the historic struggle between David and Goliath.
The film will be released on September 18 on Paramount+.
