After Gal Gadot stated that the third Wonder Woman film would be developed, the site says that the long one should not happen
Apparently, Gal Gadot was wrong about Wonder Woman’s future in the DC Cinematic Universe. That’s because, last Thursday, the 10th, Variety revealed that it is not in the studio’s plans to make a third film of the heroine, even with the actress having recently indicated that she would have news about the character’s future.
Gadot stated last week that the new Wonder Woman sequel would be developed with the help ofJames Gunn It is Peter Safran, the new heads of DC’s film division. However, according to Variety’s sources, the directors have no plans at the moment for any project with the character for the new universe that is being created.
The only confirmed project involving the heroine is the prelude series “Paradise Lost”, which will be part of the Max catalogue, formerly HBO Max. The production will take place before the birth of Diana, Wonder Woman, and will be set on the island from Themyscira. So far, there is still not much information about the series and not even the possible premiere date.
Gadot has already played the heroine in four DC films: in the character’s two solos, which were released in 2017 and 2020 and also in “Batman vs. Superman” and “Justice League”.
