The Princess of Wales shows how to wear a hair look that’s both comfortable and tidy to follow sports sessions in style.
Kate Middleton proves that she takes her missions very seriously, without skimping on style. Prince William’s wife attended a rugby training session alongside professional and amateur players from England’s Maidenhead on Wednesday (June 7), sporting a flawless hairdo from start to finish. Indeed, the godmother of rugby league and rugby union (previously held by Prince Harry) opted for a hair look that combines both practicality and elegance to carry out her functions with glamour; “loose” and not overly structured.

Comfort and discipline
While this relaxed hairstyle is a change from the one she usually wears, always dressed to the nines, the mother of Charlotte, George and Louis hasn’t lived up to her reputation as a style icon. The height of the knot is ideal for freeing the nape of the neck and not impeding its movements during play, while being disciplined enough that no strands rebel. Additionally, the ponytail defied gravity by staying put throughout the session.

Since every detail is never trivial with the Princess of Wales, she thought to tie her length with a matching brown elastic that judiciously blended into it. She completed her transformation with dark makeup that highlighted her eyes, along with mascara, black eyeshadow and eyeliner.

The aim of this sporting visit was mainly to promote the early childhood awareness campaign Shaping Us. With her exclusively male interlocutors, Kate Middleton specifically spoke about the importance of the first five years of children’s lives in their personal development.
