The character, inspired by my daughter Magali, first appeared in January 1964 in a Monica strip. Already in 1989, she won her magazine. This is the evolution of our Magali over the years. #CongratulationsMagalipic.twitter.com/Fvl49uZTXd

5. The reason behind Magali’s hunger
Magali is passionate about food. Having a huge appetite, the character’s trait comes from the daughter of mauriciowho, like Monica’s friend, also devoured an entire watermelon with ease.
However, the justification for her liking to eat so much is even deeper, as explained in the special comic ‘Magali in Other Lives’. In the comics, it is revealed that the girl who wears the yellow dress has food as a way to soothe her broken heart, as she suffered a lot for love in her past lives, losing people who were important to her.
Just as one of the examples, the Legião dos Heróis portal cites one of the stories, where Magali lost the one she loved in an attack on the village where the two lived.
