The film is already showing and promises an exciting outcome for the production company’s most famous space team
The movie ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3’ is now showing in Brazilian cinemas! The film brings an end to the saga of one of the most beloved and funniest groups in the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), the Guardians of the Galaxy. The feature features the classic intergalactic characters in an exciting new adventure full of challenges.
With breathtaking scenes and an engaging soundtrack, the production presents important characteristics for the new phase of the producer, with the original formation of the Guardians being one of the only ones to survive intact since ‘Avengers: Endgame’. Until now. This team’s destiny is put to the test and new paths are presented for the dear characters.
Consolidating itself as one of the most anticipated Marvel releases of 2023, we’ve gathered 5 reasons to convince you to this electrifying adventure that explores the laughter and, at the same time, the tears of the audience.
1. Continuous quality
Directed and written by James Gunnthe film is the longest of the entire saga, but we guarantee that it is impossible to notice the passage of time, mainly because the production maintains its high level of quality and care in the special effects, makeup and soundtrack, guaranteeing an immersive experience .
The fact that the plot takes place in space and explores the hypothesis of life in other galaxies makes the production work intense in creating the characterization of many characters, in addition to the main team. The use of visual effects is great and very well done, which is very important for a film that addresses theorems that have not yet been actually proven by human civilization.
One of the strongest features of the saga is the characters’ relationship with the songs, mainly the classics from the 1960s to the 1990s. others that pack from the happy moments to the moments that make us cry — yes, take a tissue, you’ll definitely need it!
2. Impactful villain
The villains in this trilogy are always very striking, and in the third volume of the Guardians story, this is no different. In this film, space adventurers face the High Evolutionary, a man who seeks the improvement of the human race through various studies using biochemistry.
However, the way in which he carries out his research is somewhat unconventional, mainly because he uses live guinea pigs for this. His plan is to find the perfect way of being alive, following his molds of perfection for a better world, what he calls Counter-Earth, which is inhabited only by his experiments.
His existence is also linked to one of the most beloved characters on the team, which makes his level of obsession more impressive to the public.

3. Rocket’s past
During the other two Guardians movies, we get to know the backstories of all the characters — with the exception of Nebula (Karen Gillan) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana), whose stories the public knows better during the ‘Avengers’ films — however, one of them prefers to hide his trajectory: Rocket (lived by Bradley Cooper).
The raccoon has always claimed to have a sad past, and in this new volume of history, Rocket’s past is finally revealed, showing his relationship with the villain of the production. The whole plot itself revolves around the life story of the little galactic guardian, as an unexpected situation at the beginning of the film puts his life at risk.

Beloved by all, the character is a fan favorite, along with Groot (Vin Diesel), and the director uses that love to bring drama and emotion to the entire production, ensuring tears at several points in the film.
4. Animal cause
Marvel has several characters in its franchises that refer to some social cause and, this time, it decided to invest in the animal cause, especially in those who suffer as guinea pigs in laboratories of different companies worldwide. From food to beauty products, several animals are used for testing, which lead to deformations and even death.
This is exactly the key point for the plot of the Guardians, since Rocket is a modified animal, which was created by the hands of the High Evolutionary and, from that, the path of the main team and that of the villain are linked almost automatically. .
In addition, another animal is remembered in this new film, the dog Cosmo, which was introduced for the first time in ‘Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.1’ (but in the first feature, he was not featured). The animal was used by the Russians for a space experiment, according to the comics, but ended up getting lost in space after an accident and got powers. This becomes yet another example of the misuse of animals for research, in this case, another type of scientific research.

5. New directions
The film concludes the entire journey of the Guardians, and thus also begins a new phase for the space team. With new characters being introduced in this new phase of Marvel, one that we can highlight is Adam, who also appears as a result of a study of the High Evolutionary, but was “released into the world” early.

Despite having different powers and abilities – even being a threat to the Guardians – the boy still proves to be naive and can be a good acquisition for the new team of avengers in the movies. The end of this journey represents the beginning of a new future for Marvel’s most beloved space characters, so get ready for lots of excitement, laughs and “I am Groot”.
