Using the song, the artist wants to remind the world again about the war that Russia unleashed against our country.
On the eve of the start of Eurovision 2023, the frontman of the Ukrainian band The Hardkiss Yulia Sanina released a new song and a video for it. The track was posted on YouTube on May 4th.
So, with the help of a new song called Festival, the artist decided to remind the whole world about the war in Ukraine. In particular, when the world welcomed the new year 2023 with fireworks, Ukrainians hid in bomb shelters because of the massive shooting.
As for the video, it was shot in rainy Kyiv, where Yulia Sanina left the bomb shelter and walked the roads and narrow streets in the center of the capital, dreaming of a miracle.
“This song is about a miracle. About the magical force of heaven that turns explosions into fireworks, rain bullets, and pains. We all want to live in a world without war, without invaders and conquerors . And this world feels like a big positive festival. But, unfortunately, it’s just a dream, so far from reality,” he commented at the premiere of the track.
It was previously reported that Yulia Sanina appeared in front of the camera for the cover of the British edition of The Times.
