Last Tuesday, the 2nd, jinjinleader of ASTRO, updated his Instagram page by posting an emotional letter dedicated to moonbina member of the group who died at the end of last month at the age of 25.
Along with the text, the idol also shared a sequence of images with some of his most precious memories alongside moonbinin the last years. Check out the full translation and publication of jinjin:
“Hi Bin. All good?
It could be because every time I look at my photo album, you’re there, but I still can’t believe it. I’ll just think like this. I’m just going to believe that I can’t get in touch with you because you’re busy doing the things you wanted and eating the things you’ve always wanted and that you’ll always be with us.
I miss when you always told me that whenever you looked at me it made you smile, and how you always liked everything I said and made more jokes with me. I’m sorry I didn’t take your jokes better and I didn’t laugh more, but then I think of your smiling face and I can’t help but laugh along with you. You looked so pretty when you smiled. You know that, right? If you didn’t know, I hope you did there.
People around me keep telling me that you visited them in their dreams. Why haven’t you visited me yet? No matter what. I only want to see you once, Bin. I don’t think I’ve ever missed someone so much, but I wish, even for just one day, that we spend a happy day together.
I’m back to rehearsing for my musical and I’m preparing well. I think I made a good decision to do a musical because my days are busy and I don’t think about things too much, so it’s been good. I feel that all sunbaenims and colleagues care about me a lot. A lot of people you’ve worked with are here, and they’ve told me how great you were on stage and that you were loved by them. I was so proud to hear them rave about you. You were someone who deserved to be loved, Bin. Everyone was sincere about you and everyone cared and loved you sincerely. I hope you know that there, okay?
Bin, my dongseng that I love so much, let’s laugh a lot. Let’s laugh as we absorb happy thoughts and happy news, and please don’t get hurt and let’s be happy. I love you, my dongseng. Goodnight”.
It is worth remembering that this is not the first letter that jinjin write to friend. In the memorial dedicated to moonbin located at Fantagio, the company responsible for ASTRO, the leader also left an emotional handwritten message. Look!
ASTRO debuted in 2016 under Fantagio Entertainment, with six members in its original lineup: MJ, jinjin, Cha Eunwoo, moonbin, Rocky It is sanha. Rocky, however, announced his departure from the group and the company in February 2022 after the idol decided not to renew his contract with Fantagio. Their last comeback as a full group took place in May of the same year with the album “Drive to the Starry Road”. Check out the video for the title track “Candy Sugar Pop”!
