When it comes to sexuality and pleasure, some important information sometimes slips under men’s radar, much to women’s dismay. To reduce this misunderstanding, the sex therapist separates fact from fiction.

A 2017 American survey shows that 95% of heterosexual men experience orgasm often or after every intercourse. Among heterosexual women, they are only 65%. This is called “orgasm gap ”, or the gap between male and female pleasures. Immediacy, one might even say, can be attributed in part to the male’s ignorance of female pleasure. As proof, the same survey shows that 86% of lesbian women orgasm often or after every intercourse. To reduce this sad sexual disparity between women and men, Charlene Vermont, sex therapist, sexual health coach, Sorbonne teacher and creator of the Instagram page Orgasme et moi, shares some important information about what men should know about pleasure.
