Caroline de Monaco’s daughter arrived at the Rocher event in a fringed Chanel dress, the strap of which kept falling, revealing her bare shoulder under the flashes of photographers.
One of rock’s most anticipated annual events, the 67th edition of the Bal de la Rose took place on March 25 at Sporting Monte-Carlo. This year, Bollywood was the theme presented by Christian Louboutin. The Royal Family is honored to participate in the event, which was created by Princess Grace in 1954. On the red carpet, (almost) the whole clan, therefore, took a united stance under the glare of the cameras. But it was Charlotte Casiraghi who stood out in an unexpected dress. As she prepares for a photocall exercise, the thin left strap of her dress slips from her sleeve, leaving her shoulder exposed. The Monegasque didn’t seem fazed by this little incident and continued to pose confidently with her family.

The unruly strappy dress was unexpectedly Chanel-esque, straight from the spring-summer 2023 ready-to-wear collection. Charlotte Casiraghi has been the brand ambassador for almost two years. Pink in color, the dress reached the ankles with a pink feather, and the forearms were covered with long satin opera gloves, the same shade as the dress. Charlotte Casiraghi thus joins the trend that appeared on the catwalks of the last Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2023-2024. She also casually carried a small white Chanel bag covered in lambskin. At his feet were amazing open silver platforms. It seems that the daughter of Carolina of Monaco dares to make more and more unique associations.

Next to Charlotte Casiraghi, in front of the lens, her mother, Princess Caroline, stepped forward in a Chanel haute couture dress with a metallic look and fuchsia accents on the neckline, midriff and bottom, from the Fall-Winter 2012-2013 collection. Alexandra of Hanover, her half-sister, played it low-key in a long black dress with a crossover collar. Tatiana Santo Domingo, wife of Andrea Casiraghi, opted for a ruched Jenny Peckham dress, while Beatrice Borromeo, wife of Pierre, wore a Dior Cruise 2023 dress with deliberately bare shoulders.
