John Legend is no rookie when it comes to raising three kids with wife Chrissy Teigen, so he’s offering some hilarious advice to fellow parents on how to keep his “sex life” alive.
Many parents struggle to find creative ways to spend personal time away from their children, but the “All of Me” singer has a simple solution.
“Close the door if you have children,” the 44-year-old said The Call Her Dad podcast. Wednesday when asked about his secret to keeping things spicy in the bedroom.
“Our kids have a way of finding their way into our room, so if we want to have fun, we have to lock the door,” she added.
Elsewhere in the interview, the EGOT winner spoke candidly about how he and Teigen, 37, keep the spark alive even when determined parenting puts them “in a rut.”
The caption explained: “You have to make time, you have to keep making those romantic gestures and make an effort.”
He continued: “I think everything is important. You can’t take things for granted, especially if you’ve been together for a long time. If you allow yourself to get into a rut, you have to go on a date, do some things, do some fun things, do some romantic gestures.
Just two months ago, the couple welcomed their third child, an adorable baby girl named Esti.
“The house is full of life and our family couldn’t be happier,” Teigen she wrote on Instagram alongside a cozy photo of the newborn with her two older siblings, Luna, 6, and Miles, 4.
“Daddy cries tears of joy at night seeing Luna and Miles so full of love and I learn you still need diapers with a c-section!?” the pattern continued. “We are happy”.
The legend shared the same sentimental photo at the time, saying he was “in awe of Chrissy’s strength and resilience.”
