‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’ hits theaters this Thursday, the 15th, and can be seen as a DC hit
After a long wait, fans of the ‘Shazam!’ prepare to follow the superhero’s new adventure. This Thursday, the 16th, Brazilian cinemas are showing the second film of the franchise: ‘Shazam! Gods Fury’. In this new stage, the hero and their allies prepare to face a true nightmare.

Recreio digital participated in the film’s preview last Tuesday, the 14th, and separated 5 reasons for you not to miss the release of ‘Shazam! Wrath of the Gods’ in theaters. Check it out below!
1. Jokes
Just like the first film, ‘Shazam! ‘Rage of the Gods’ is also marked by the comic banter of the hero and his family. At one point in the film, DC fans will meet a peculiar character which will result in one of the funniest moments of the film.
2. The Fury
As already disclosed, Shazam and his allies enter into a true battle with ancient gods. These are the three daughters of Atlas, Kalypso (played by Lucy Liu), Hespera (played by Helen Mirren) and Anthea (played by Rachel Zegler). It is from them that the film shows intense scenes of action and combat, which, definitely, worth your admission.
3. From Goddess to Snow White
As mentioned in the previous topic, one of the goddesses is played by actress Rachel Zegler. The actress caught the attention of Internet users in recent years when she was announced as the next Snow White in a new Disney film. Although they are extremely different roles, the film allows you to get an idea of the performance of the talented actress.
4. Be a superhero
‘Shazam! Fury of Gods’ explores Billy’s relationship with his family and the challenges of becoming a superhero. In thought-provoking scenes, the film shows how he learned to handle this responsibility. In an interview for Terra, director David F. Sandberg reflected on these two factors.
“Billy didn’t really want to be a superhero, but he became one and he had to learn to deal with it. Freddy was so ready to become one that he’s loving it! He wants to do even more, be his own superhero , not just being part of the family. And because Billy isn’t as interested, that leads to some friction,” he said.
5. The Almighty
This topic, we need to emphasize, is not a spoiler. A TV commercial confirmed what some theorized. The film features a special appearance by Wonder Woman. Despite being a ‘lightning’ appearance, Gal Gadot manages to charm anyone who watches the film. This is because the heroine’s ‘mission’ in the plot is of paramount importance.
