Earlier, Metallica announced a new album called 72 Seasons. It will be the band’s first album released in seven years. The premiere is scheduled for April 14 this year.

Cult rock band Metallica bought a controlling stake in a vinyl factory. Furnace Record Pressing is located in Virginia, United States. NME writes about it.

It is one of the largest record factories in the country.

“We’re excited to take our collaboration with Furnace to the next level. Their spirit, their passion for their craft. Culturally, we’re kindred spirits,” said drummer and founding member Lars Ulrich .

In addition, the musicians announced the M72 world tour.

Tours are scheduled for 2023-2024 in Amsterdam, Paris, Helsinki, Copenhagen, Hamburg, Warsaw, Munich and other cities.
