“SNL” host Jenna Ortega had a special guest — “SNL” alum and “Wednesday” co-star Fred Armisen — to help her during this weekend’s monologue.
The 20-year-old, who stars in the recently released horror film “Scream VI,” noted that she’s the youngest host of the “Saturday Night Live” season yet, before continuing to dive into her resume entertainment.
“I got caught when my mom put a video of me on Facebook, which someone explained to me was like TikTok, but about racism instead of dancing,” joked Ortega.
He later says that his personality is similar to his “dark and twisted” roles, such as those seen in “X” and “Wednesday”.
“I think there’s something in my face where people see that and say, ‘Hey, let’s put some blood on her,'” Ortega joked.
Ortega, who also performed a “horror movie” remix of one of his first acting gigs, then convinced Armisen to join him on stage despite his initial reluctance.
“Wow, that’s what it feels like to be on ‘Saturday Night Live,'” Armisen said, marveling at the audience.
“You’ve been on the show for 11 seasons,” Ortega said.
“Ah, that’s great, thanks,” Armisen replied.
