Changes are circling the Marvel universe. Recently, Disney CEO, Bob Iger, said that the coming years of the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) will be full of news. Among these changes, the biggest can be considered that of the new lineup of ‘Avengers’, which will arrive “totally different” in theaters.
O CEO, as echoed by CNBC, he also said during a presentation at a technology event that the Marvel franchises that are underway both in streaming and in theaters are evolving well. But, in the same way, the producer will present new characters and story, which reaches ‘Avengers’.
In this ocasion, bob he said:
There’s nothing inherently wrong brand-wise with Marvel. I think we just have to look at what characters and stories we’re exploring, looking at the trajectory of Marvel over the next five years, you’re going to see a lot of new things. We’re going back to the Avengers, but with an entirely different set of Avengers.”
In addition, even during the event, he said that although the sequences of productions work for the brand, most of the time there is a fear of presenting new things to viewers: “Do you need a third and fourth film? Or is it time to give attention to other characters?”
