Goldilocks and the Three Bears
Like most fairy tales, the story of ‘Goldilocks and the Three Bears’ was popularized by word of mouth, making it difficult to pinpoint the date on which the story appeared. However, the first physical record of the narrative was given during the 18th century by the British poet Robert Southey, although over the years it has received many different points of view.
Thus, the most common version begins by reporting that the young girl who had blonde hair was lost in the forest when she saw a house in the midst of large trees. Tired and hungry after so much walking, she decides to approach the residence.
Smelling fresh porridge, she calls but no one answers, so she decides to go in, even though she wasn’t invited. As she turns the knob, she spots three bowls of porridge on the table: the first one was very, very hot; the second very cold, the third was at the perfect temperature, and that was the one she devoured.
With a full stomach, she decides to sit down, but has to choose between three chairs, where the first turns out to be too big for her, the second was too wide, while the last one ended up breaking when she sat down, since it was too small.
With her plans frustrated, she decides to look for another place to rest, then finding a room with three beds, and again encounters problems, since the first one was too big and hard, while the second one, which was medium in size, was too soft. So she lay down on the third bed, which was smaller and perfect for a nap, so, as she did, she closed her eyes and fell asleep.
However, his peace of mind was disturbed when the owners of the house arrived and saw his food overturned and his furniture broken, although the biggest surprise was for Goldilocks, since the place was home to three brown bears, who left their lunch ready while they went on their daily walk through the forest.
Desperate, the girl tries to flee the place without being noticed, but without success, since before leaving the place, the mother bear makes her reflect on her actions, making it clear that Curly could not enter places and touch other people’s things without authorization.
