Prince Harry showed off his acting sticks – and the “Girl Dad” T -shirt – in a new video campaign for his non -profit travel organization Travalyst.
The nearly five-minute video, which helps promote sustainable travel for New Zealanders, partly suggests the idea that holiday destinations are popular with travelers, rather than vice versa.
In a YouTube video released on Monday, the Duke of Sussex plays New Zealand actors Rice Darby, Dave Fan and Rena Owen.
At the beginning of the clip, Royal runs into the woods before being stopped by a New Zealand “rating agent”. Harry will be asked about the Lollipop package he will be removing in 2018 when he and Megan Markle are on a royal tour in the country.
The agent analyzed Duke’s relatively personal rating system and praised him for using only a towel while staying at the hotel and for the lack of water while brushing his teeth.
The revelations prompted the confused Harry to ask the agent: “How did you find out? It’s really weird”.
Later, after the second agent arrives and discovers the mess – they should have stopped Harry Styles instead of the prince – four stars are pictured in front of the royal family.
In a statement to HuffPost, Duke cited “the opportunity and need to redefine the industry – for better, for better” as the journey continues against the backdrop of the current pandemic.
“We created the nonprofit Travalyst to rethink how travel can expand our global understanding, break down barriers, and create cultural connections to experiences we may not have,” Harry said in a statement. .
“We’re doing it all at the same time, making sure local communities really feel the benefits of tourism and protect the necessary ecosystems.” In a world where we have been given the task of examining so many things, we now ask ourselves, “What if I examine your destination?”
The Duke of Sussex aired the campaign exclusively on the Maori TV show “Con Te Ao Moana.”
Harry launched his Sustainable Travel Initiative in 2019 with partners Booking.com, Skyscanner, Trip.com Group, Tripadvisor and Visa. Google and Expedia just signed an effort to “enable travelers to make better choices for themselves and for the planet”.
The Duke was about to leave himself. A spokesperson to HuffPost recently confirmed that Harry and Megan will be returning to the UK for Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee in June. The couple will be joined by their two children Archie and Lily.
Lily, born in June 2021, has not yet met her great -grandmother in person.
Information about celebrities joining the festivities followed a statement by Buckingham Palace that the couple would not be taking part in the annual Trooping the Color balcony.
“After careful consideration, the Queen has decided that this year’s traditional Trooping the Color balcony, Thursday 2 June, will be limited to Her Majesty and to members of the royal family currently performing official public duties on behalf of the Queen .. According to a statement shared by the Palace on HuffPost on Friday.
The statement meant that Prince Andrew, who was also not a member of the active royal family, would not join the royal family on the balcony. Andrew lost favor because of his relationship with deceased pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.
