They are coming back! After all members left YG Entertainment in December last year, and signed with 143 Entertainment in early 2023, the iKON announced this Wednesday, the 2nd, two big news: a world tour, and the release of the first solo single from Bobby at the new agency.
About the tour, the poster released on the group’s social networks states that it will start in May, and will pass through countries in Asia, Europe and the Americas. So far, the official dates and locations have not yet been revealed, however, new information will be released on March 7th.
As for the first solo release of Bobbyby 143 Entertainment is set to arrive on March 21, as yet unnamed. This will be the idol’s first work as a soloist since the debut of his second full-album “Lucky Man” two years ago.
It is worth remembering that iKON confirmed his departure from YG Entertainment on December 30, 2022, after seven years of debut. The following day, it was confirmed that all six members of the group had signed to 143 Entertainment, and would continue their promotions under the name iKON.
“The members united with the continuation of the group’s activities as their top priority, and our thoughts aligned with 143 Entertainment, the company of producer DM with whom we interacted musically for a long time. We will continue iKON’s music with more passion to repay the warm support and love you’ve given us so far,” the members stated in a statement at the time.
iKON was formed by YG Entertainment through the survival program “Mix & Match” in September 2015. Currently, the group consists of six members: Bobby (kim jiwon), jay (Kim Jinhwan), JUNE (Koo Junhoe), song (Song Yunhyeong), DK (Kim Donghyuk) It is Chan (Jung Chanwoo).
