4 Disney+ launches in March

Disney+ recently released the full list of premieres scheduled for March. To start the celebration of women’s month, the platform pays tribute to all women in the world, highlighting the documentary series ‘M Power’, which brings together heroines and shows female talent in MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) productions.

Throughout the month, the streaming platform also makes available exclusively the original film ‘Chang’s Move’, a feature film teen reminiscent of classic Disney youth basketball movies. For romance lovers, at the end of the month, ‘Prom Pact’ premieres, which promises to warm the hearts of lovers. Below, check out a little more about these and other productions. Look!

1. Chang’s Play (03/10)

Directed and scripted by Jingyi Shao, the film Disney+ original tells the story of Chang (Bloom Li), an American student of Asian descent who dreams of playing basketball. But despite his goals, he is unpopular at school and is constantly teased by his classmates.

However, determination is not lacking for the student, who decides to learn once and for all how to put the ball in the basket to overcome the popular Matt (Chase Liefeld) and win the heart of his beloved Kristy (Zoe Renee) once and for all. To overcome the challenges, the boy begins training with professional player DeAndre (Dexter Darden).

two. MPower (03/15)

Specially produced for the women’s month, the series highlights the role of great heroines in Marvel’s successful productions, in addition to the performance and talent of women behind the cameras so that the studio’s films and series could be produced. No details about the creation have been released yet, which has MCU fans on edge, but the brief description of the series reads: “MPower salutes the women of Marvel, on-screen and off-screen, who have brought our iconic heroines to life.”

3. Bono & The Edge: A Sort Of Homecoming (03/17)

A 2014 Academy Award-winning documentary by Morgan Neville featuring ‘Two Steps to Stardom’the production records Dave Letterman’s first visit to Dublin (U2 musicians), hometown of Bono and The Edge, to remember the great hits they wrote for decades.

Along with other musicians in the group, the duo prepares to make a show completely different and unforgettable at Ambassador Theatre. During the plot, they live a journey full of adventures and reflections on their compositions throughout their lives and update some of the lyrics for the current period.

4. Prom Pact (03/31)

Directed by Anya Adams and scripted by Anthony Lombardo, the feature tells the story of Mandy Yang (Peyton Elizabeth Lee), a teenager at the end of high school and responsible for one of the most difficult tasks of the period: organizing the prom. Together with her best friend Ben, she receives several proposals for themes for the party, but remains focused on her dreamed moment of entering Harvard.

However, the student sees the dream of a lifetime crumble when she is placed on the college waiting list. But, determined, she does not give up and decides to do whatever it takes to enter the university, even if it costs her having to talk to the person she most abhors: Graham Lansing (Blake Draper), whose father is a senator and Harvard alumnus. What she doesn’t expect is to discover a great love in the middle of the way.
