‘What the hell is wrong with you?’: John Oliver loses Fox News anchor

John Oliver tried to help Fox News get the facts straight after a confusing exchange between two of the right-wing network’s anchors as they talked about the environmental disaster after a train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio.

“For activists, this is an Erin Brockovich moment,” Fox News anchor Rachel Campos-Duffy told network staffer Jesse Watters last week. “There was a blockbuster, Oscar-winning movie written about it.”

“Erin Brockovich is actually in East Palestine tonight, right now,” Watters replied.

“It is,” Campos-Duffy remarked, then added, “But where’s Julia Roberts?”

This stunned Oliver.

“What? What do you mean? You do realize that Julia Roberts is an actress, right? She was pretending. She’s not actually Erin Brockovich,” Oliver said.

Roberts won an Academy Award for her portrayal of Brockovich in the 2000 film Erin Brockovich.

But as Oliver points out, it’s not actually Erin Brockovich.

The “Last Week Tonight” host then went through a list of Roberts’ other on-screen roles to help clear up a few things for Campus-Duffy:

I also can’t believe I’m telling you this, she didn’t crash her best friend’s wedding, she’s not a prostitute, and she didn’t die in a small town in Louisiana in 1989.

“What the hell is wrong with you?” concluded:
