Before season 3, remember the characters of the series

Is coming! The third season of “The Mandalorian” premieres exclusively on Disney+ on March 1, just over two years after the end of the previous season.

The series follows the journeys of the Mandalorian (Pedro Pascal), a bounty hunter, and Grogu, a Yoda. Over the course of the new episodes, as the New Republic struggles to pull the galaxy out of its dark history, Din Djarin will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together.

“The Mandalorian” will feature the return of characters beloved by the public and others that are somewhat menacing. So, before checking out the new season, remember some of the outstanding characters present in the series!

Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal)

Din Djarin, the protagonist of the series, is a bounty hunter who sails through various parts of the galaxy, and who is part of the Mandalore, a group that has the characteristic of living in heavy armor, a metal mask that can never be removed and who live in the shadows and hide after they were attacked by the Galactic Empire.

In The Mandalorian, Din Djarin was given the mission to find a baby of the Yoda race and deliver it to a former member of the empire. However, he ends up building a relationship with the child and decides to protect her from the dangers of the galaxy.

Grogu the Baby Yoda

Grogu, a baby of the Yoda race who carries with him unimaginable strength, is Din Djarin’s great companion. After being saved by the Mandalorian, the pair travel the galaxy on the run from former enemies of the empire and seek a safe home to develop their Jedi powers. While walking through several planets, Grogu eats everything he sees ahead and delivers scenes of great cuteness.

Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito)

Moff Gideon has led dark forces against rebels in the past, and is an important name in the former Galactic Empire. Though he now lives in the New Republic era, he is one of the forces from the past that still survives terrorizing planets across the galaxy. When he learned of the existence of Grogu, a baby who can reach the strength of great Jedi’s, Gideon does everything to capture him and use his powers to the dark side of the force.

Bo-Katan Kryze (Katee Sackhoff)

Leader of the Mandalore revolution, Bo-Katan is looking to revolutionize the powerful group. Appearing for the first time in the second season, the character tries to recover the Darksaber stolen by Moff Gideon (Giancarlo Esposito) in the Great Purge of Mandalore. To that end, he decides to help Din Djarin find a Jedi who can carry out Grogu’s training. After some problems faced, they unite to fight forces of the ancient galactic empire and save baby Yoda from the dark side of the force.

Green Karga (Carl Weathers)

After the fall of the Galactic Empire, Greef Karga ended up becoming an agent of the Bounty Hunters’ Guild, offering jobs to Mandalorians. After delivering the task of retrieving an unknown cargo, which turns out to be Grogu, Karga clashes with Din Djarin as the Mandalorian saves the child from the buyer’s hands. However, throughout the first two seasons, Greef allies with Din and Grogu against Moff Gideon and the Galactic Empire.
