1. Snow White
The first feature film in Disney’s entire history is also the one that introduced the universe of princesses to the world. Snow White is set around the 1500s and 1550s in Germany.

5. beautiful
With the great references of art, lines and clothing in the film, experts have come to the conclusion that ‘Beauty and the Beast’ took place between the period of 1750 and 1795, in some small village in France.
6. Jasmine
Incredibly, this may be one of Disney’s longest-running films. According to researchers, ‘Aladdin’ takes place during the Achaemenid Empire, better known as the Persian Empire, which occurred between 550 to 330 BC. Its location, however, is not Agrabah as many people think — since this city does not even exist in real life. It was actually created only as a representation to the countries of Arabia.
7. Pocahontas
The story of love and struggle of the Indian Pocahontas is inspired by a real tale, and takes place in the year 1607 in Jamestown, Virginia, located in the United States.
8. Mulan
The location of ‘Mulan’ is no secret: China. However, the time period in which it takes place was a major problem for researchers. According to them, the story must take place sometime between the Han and Tang dynasties, ranging from 220 to 906 AD.
9. Tiana
Throughout the film ‘The Princess and the Frog’ the place where the plot takes place is made clear, and also gives a great idea about the period set. In this way, experts have come to the conclusion that Tiana lives her adventures between the years 1916 and 1926, in New Orleans, in the United States, a city known as the birthplace of jazz.
10. Rapunzel
‘Tangled’ takes place between the period of 1795, until approximately 1820. Its location, however, is still not so certain, it could have happened between the north of Italy and the border of Austria.
11. Merida
Unlike some other films, ‘Brave’ has its setting very clear: Highlands, in Scotland. Your period is not so sure. What is known is that it happens sometime in the 10th century, however, without the specific year.
12. Anna and Elsa
Like Agrabah, the kingdom of Arendelle also does not exist. He is actually a representation of Norway, and the history of the franchise is set between the years 1839 and 1842.
13. Moana
The island of Moto Nui is yet another fictional Disney location. She was inspired by Polynesia, and represents the tribes of these islands that are in the Pacific. However, so far, it is the only one in which it has not been possible to determine the period in which it takes place.
