‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ Post-Credits Scene

Opening in theaters last Thursday, the 17th, ‘Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania’ kicked off phase 5 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe by exploring the civilizations and possibilities in the Quantum Realm, and also by deepening the relevance to Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), the great villain of this new stage of the studio.

The film follows the same logic as most of its predecessors and features not only one, but two post-credits scenes, which, despite being short, reveal what Marvel’s next steps will be in theaters and also in streaming.

Kang Council?

As a result, the meeting, which is known as the Council of Kangs, decides that all versions of the villain will act together so that they can defeat the beloved Marvel heroes, an event that should be presented in the next Avengers film titled ‘Kang Dynasty’ , set to debut in 2025.

It is worth remembering that the event was first presented in the comics, however, in the pages the war is fought only by two variants of Kang.

Loki’s future

After fans anxiously waited for the huge list of names to be completed, the wait was rewarded. That’s because, the last scene is a preview of the awaited second season of ‘Loki’, a series released in 2021.

In the scene, which is set in 20th-century America, the God of Mischief (Tom Hiddleston) and Mobius (Owen Wilson) appear in an audience waiting for the start of a lecture that will be given by a theorist named Victor Timely.

The event could be just another coincidence if the presenter didn’t sound so familiar, since the character is none other than another variant of Kang, ready to dominate yet another timeline.

Showing that the encounter with the One Who Remains in the sixth episode of the series that bears his name was somewhat traumatizing, Loki says with bulging eyes to Mobius that the villain is one of the most powerful beings in the entire multiverse.

Finally, the scene ends with a black screen accompanied by the phrase: “Kang will return”, leaving no doubt that the villain will still cause more chaotic events in the MCU.
