Designated dressing room
Made by the label Dior, whose ambassador is Chiara Ferragni, the dress, baptized “shamelessly”, was inspired by the spring-summer 2018 haute couture model. Message dresses
The business woman chained four dresses, each with a different message. The trompe-l’oeil dress evokes the myth of Eve, who is responsible for original sin. An anti-hate dress is printed with negative comments taken from the star’s Instagram page. The manifesto dress, created in collaboration with artist Fulvia Carnevale of the Claire Fontaine duo, is accompanied by a stole that reads “Pensati libera:(Feel free to think.) Finally, a cage dress with a visible crinoline is an allegory for women’s confinement. A style exercise perfectly mastered by Maria Grazia Chiuri, the artistic director of Dior, who has made bespoke clothing her specialty. And this one with the We Should All Be Feminists t-shirt from Dior’s flagship collection, We Should All Be Feminists.
Very popular in Italy, the Sanremo competition stretches over several evenings. The last one, on February 11, will also be organized by Chiara Ferragni. The promise of a new score without fake writing.
