“Voting during the competition is possible only from the countries participating in it. Russia, which is not participating in the event, cannot vote from its territory,” said the show’s executive producer Claudio Fazulo.
Recall that the fact that the Russian Federation was removed from the competition, it became known on February 25 – the second day of the Russian war in Ukraine. The show, hosted by the European Broadcasting Union (EBU), said the exception was due to “values on which the EBU is established”.
