Finally! This Thursday, the 26th, Warner Bros. revealed the second official trailer for ‘Shazam! A Fury of the Gods’, first sequel to the solo film about the hero who has gifts from the ancient gods granted by a wizard and who is Billy Batson’s alter ego.
The preview shows that Billy will have to deal with Hespera, Anthea and Kalypso, the powerful daughters of Atlas. The villainous demigoddesses will make the hero and his super powerful family doubt their capabilities, as they will not take it easy to get what they want: to take Shazam’s magical powers. The new villains will be played by Helen Mirren, Rachel Zegler and Lucy Liuwhile the adult version of Billy Batson is played by Zachary Levi and the mirim for Asher Angel.
In addition to them, the cast also has Jack Dylan Grazer, Faithe Herman, Grace Fulton, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand and Adam Brody. Meanwhile, the filmmaker David F. Sandberg commands the direction of the feature film. The cinematography takes the name of Gyula Pados and editing is under the criteria of Michel Aller.
‘Shazam! ‘Clash of Gods’ hits theaters on March 17th following Billy Batson and his entire crew battling angry gods who believe that all members of the Shazam family don’t deserve the superpowers they wield.
