‘Avatar: Way of Water’ Crosses $2 Billion at the Box Office
Closer and closer to the top, ‘Avatar: Way to Water’ becomes the fifth highest-grossing of all time with $2.05 billion in tickets across the globe in just over a month in theaters.
The feat made the plot that brings Jake and Neytiri back to the screen 13 years after the war against the ‘sky people’ surpass the numbers of “Avengers: Infinity War” which dropped to No. 7 on the list of highest-grossing films of all time with $2,048,359,754.
The record makes James Cameronput three of its films in the top 5 of the list of most profitable feature films in history, as “Titanic” (US$ 2.19 billion) occupies the third position and first “Avatar” (US$ 2.92 billion) is first. See the list!

It is worth remembering that “Avatar: The Path of Water” is the first sequel of four planned by Cameronsince the next one should hit theaters in December 2024, while the rest are scheduled for 2026 and 2028.
“The Way of Water” hit theaters on Dec. 15 introducing a new tribe of Pandora: The Metkayina. The film features the return of Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver and Stephen Langand bring Cliff Curtis and Kate Winslet as the new faces of the cast.
