In November, Hemsworth announced plans to temporarily step away from the spotlight after learning he was genetically predisposed to Alzheimer’s disease, the most common type of dementia that progressively affects memory, thinking and behavior.
“The idea that I won’t be able to remember the life I lived, or my wife, my children — that’s probably my biggest fear,” he explained.
In a later episode of “Limitless,” Pataky decided to allay Hemsworth’s fears by dressing up as an 87-year-old version of herself, complete with prosthetics, a wig, and special effects makeup.
