ISFJ, ENTP, ISFP… If you happen to drag your heels on dating sites, you may have already come across these four letter combinations in certain subscriber profiles. No, it’s not the name of the business school they graduated from, nor are they variations of LOL and other MDRs. These are the results of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), better known as the 16 personality test.

It first appeared in 1962 at the initiative of two Americans who named it after themselves: Isabelle Briggs Myers (1897-1980), a statistical novelist, and her mother, Catherine Cooke Briggs (1875-1875). 1968), theorist and psychologist.
