Explosive shells came ashore in waves during a storm in the Black Sea, Sergei Shaikhet said.

A sea mine washed ashore during a storm wave in the resort of Koblevo. Because of this, he exploded on the beach. This was announced by the head of the National Police in the Nikolaev region Sergey Shaikhet on his Telegram channel on Tuesday, December 27.

“Fortunately there were no casualties,” the law enforcement officer said.

According to him, there are many such dangerous items. In this regard, local residents need to be vigilant.

“If you see explosives or any other dangerous object, call 102 immediately,” Shaikhet concluded.

Recall that on December 14, storm waves washed a mine into the sea near the mouth of the Danube in the Odessa region.
