Remember the drawings that were part of the extinct channel that marked the childhood of several children
One of the favorite pastimes of children who grew up in the 2000s was spending hours in front of the TV following their favorite cartoons on the most diverse channels existing at the time — and among them was Jetix, a channel that appeared in 2004 and was commanded by The Walt Disney Company.
Before giving way to Disney XD after ending its activities in 2009, the channel’s programming featured productions from different locations around the globe, bringing together works from Canada, Japan, the United States and France in sequences.
In order to remember the nostalgia of that time, Recreio put together a list of 5 unforgettable Jetix animations. Check out!
1. PUCCA
Launched in 2006, the animation that has South Korean origin, was produced in Canada and scripted in the United States, had three seasons featuring Pucca, a girl who lives under the care of her uncles, owners of a Chinese archery club. , and owners of a restaurant, where they are called the gods of ramen.
The plot shows that Pucca is in love with Garu, a ninja boy who tries at all costs to stay away from the young girl’s demonstrations of love, however, providing a lot of fun and action on the small screen.
2. Yin Yang Yo

The design features Yin, a very fun and intelligent pink bunny who, alongside her brother Yang, a somewhat teasing blue bunny, must face the most diverse challenges to save the day, all with the help of their grandfather, Yo , a grouchy panda who teaches them martial arts techniques.
The design, which was also included in the Jetix lineup in 2006, was created by Bob Boyle and Steve Marmel (producer of Os Padrinhos Mágicos), and had two seasons.
3. Beyblade

Adapted from a Japanese anime of the same name created to promote a new toy, ‘Beyblade’ appeared in 2001 and soon became a huge hit, both in bookstores and on TV and in stores where the high-performance spinning top placed on the shelves soon gained ownership.
In the animation, a group of boys compete using highly energized Beyblades, dominated by Sacred Bit-Beasts (which are spirits of mystical and powerful creatures). In addition to the competition that has several championships and many conflicts, it is also possible to identify with the friendship of the young boys.
4. Kid vs. Kat

Can you imagine the possibility that cats are aliens? Coop, the little boy protagonist of the cartoon released in 2008, ‘Kid vs Kat’, not only thinks about it, but also strongly believes that the new feline in the family is an evil extraterrestrial being.
Called Mr. Cat, the pussy is really from another world and is called Sphynx, a cybernetic alien who tries to conquer the earth and turns young Coop’s life upside down through several confusions that lasted two seasons.
5. WITCH

With two seasons, the drawing accompanies Will, Irma, Taranee, Cornelia and Hay Lin, five teenagers who, when chosen to be the new Guardians of the Oracle of Kandrakar, receive the powers of the five elements to help them protect the center of the universe from its various threats.
