Last few days transit Several roads in the country have been hit by demonstrations against the government of Dina Boluarte. Given this, what should you know if you have a trip planned?

Indecopi notes that in the face of demonstrations in various regions, suppliers transport services they must protect the rights of passengers and fulfill a number of obligations.

First, inter-provincial transport companies must inform their passengers of scheduled flight restrictions due to force majeure and must provide opportunities for rescheduling and/or cancellation of purchased tickets.

Business Providers must provide the possibility of refunding the money paid for the service in case of rescheduling the trip.

Likewise, a company must keep its complaints and/or inquiries channels active to provide information about its services.
