“Our expectations for November are minus 41%. This is significantly deeper than what we predicted before,” he said during a discussion at the Center for Economic Strategy (CES).
Kudin also noted that overall for this year the forecast for the fall in GDP worsened to 33.2% from 32%.
“Our forecast is minus 33.2%. We made it slightly worse because of the attacks on the energy system after November 23 and December 5,” he said.
A month earlier, the First Deputy Prime Minister – Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko said that the Russian shelling in October increased the fall of GDP to 39% in October 2021, which is worse than the 35% in September- August.
