The head of the NAC discussed the possibility of providing additional gas to the head of the US Agency for International Development.
The head of the board of NJSC Naftogaz-Ukraine, Oleksiy Chernyshev, turned to the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) for the source of the winter. He announced this on the evening of Monday, November 29, on Facebook.
“I continue to work with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in a new role – I met with Erin McKee, head of the USAID – US Agency for International Development in Europe and Asia. The key is the additional amount of gas needed for get through this heating season!”, said Chernyshev.
The issue of supply of methanol, gas compressors, diesel generators and equipment for gas production was also raised.
Earlier it was reported that Norway allocated almost $200 million for gas to Ukraine. Payments will be made directly to European gas suppliers.
