Peru Impulse: Eleven projects await Congressional approval

“Initiatives like subsidies are measures that should go straight into people’s pockets (…) I’ve seen very few plans going into people’s pockets and people are hoping it will be on the government’s radar. Kurt Burneo announced ten new measures to be included in the reactivation plan, eight of which must be approved by Congress. It is expected that everyone will present before the end of the year, and for this the official will go to Congress to seek meetings in various commissions.

“I will be very active next week because I will be knocking on the doors of Congress and visiting commissions to try to get this out to the public, because at the end of the day, implementation makes it hard for all of us,” he said.
