The American corporation Microsoft has extended support for Ukraine until the end of 2023 and will provide technological assistance for $100 million. It was noted that thanks to technical assistance, government agencies, critical infrastructure and other sectors in Ukraine will continue to use digital infrastructure for free and work in the Microsoft cloud.
The company will also assist the curation and implementation of Ukraine’s digital sectors, such as cyber, litigation, customs, medicine and education.
At the same time, since the beginning of the full-scale war, Microsoft has given more than $400 million to support Ukraine.
The company was also one of the first to suspend all new sales of products and services in Russia in early March.
“State structures and critical infrastructure facilities will be able to use Microsoft clouds for free until the end of 2023. This is also support for the digital reform of the State Statistics Service. Microsoft is a great friend of Ukraine. It are their cloud technologies that play a decisive role in protecting our digital infrastructure since the beginning of a full-scale war and data security of Ukrainians,” said Mikhail Fedorov, head of the Ministry of Digital Development .
