National Directorate of Migration agreed to authorize 12 electronic gates or electronic doors to speed up the migration control of people who leave and enter the country through the airport Jorge Chavez from Lima

How do electronic gates work?
According to the National Migration Supervision, in order to fulfill immigration control at the electronic exits, the passenger must present his passport and boarding pass to the team, which, after analyzing them, opens the door and lets the person through; and immediately starts collecting biometric data (photo and fingerprint).
With this information, the system makes an electronic request to the relevant databases and, in case of a negative response to any warning, opens the exit door, completing the migration control process in about 30 seconds on average, more quickly and safely.
