Ukrainians amnestied assets worth 5.3 billion – Hetmantsev

The value of assets declared under the tax amnesty currently stands at about UAH 5.3 billion. This was announced by the People’s Deputy, the head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Finance, Tax and Customs Policy Daniil Getmantsev on his Telegram channel on Friday, September 2.

“As part of the voluntary declaration campaign, citizens declared assets worth more than UAH 5 billion,” he wrote.

According to Getmantsev, a total of 527 declarations were filed. At the same time, the budget collection reached almost UAH 317 million.

It should be noted that on August 16, it was reported about the declared 4.3 billion Hryvnia. So, in just two weeks, the amount increased by 1 billion rubles.

It will be remembered that from September 1, 2021, a tax amnesty with a validity period of one year was launched in Ukraine. During this time, citizens can make a one-time declaration of assets.

And on August 15, it became known that the Verkhovna Rada extended the tax amnesty for six months, until March 1, 2023.
