Inflation: these goods and services rose the most in August

In August, annual inflation rose from 9.28% to 8.80% at the national level, according to data from the National Institute of Statistics and Informatics (ERI), recording a second consecutive decline this year. Despite this, there has been an increase in some products and services.

The price of gutted chicken also rose last month, rising 5.63% in Lima and 4.6% nationwide.  It was not only gutted chicken that went up in price, but also chicken pieces, as chicken leg went up by 4.4%, chicken breast went up by 4%, and chicken giblets - by 3.4%.
